Data Processing Activities

A) Visiting the Helsing Website
When you visit the website, your device’s browser automatically transmits information to our website’s server. This information is temporarily stored in a log file. The following data is collected and stored, without any action on your part, until it is automatically deleted: IP address of the device accessing the website; date, time and type of visit; URL of the retrieved file browser used; and, in some cases, your computer’s operating system, as well as the name of your access provider. We do not use the data collected through log files to draw conclusions about you personally under any circumstances.

B) Communicating With Us
If you have questions of any kind, we offer you the option to contact us via email. If you make personal data available to us via these communication channels, we will only store and use this data on the basis of: (i) Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a of the GDPR* to process your inquiries; or(ii) Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b of the GDPR if the subject of your inquiry relates to (pre-) contractual information. Sharing of Data

Your personal data is not shared with third parties for purposes other than those listed in the following. We only share your personal data with third parties if:

  • you have expressly given consent pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a of the GDPR; or
  • the disclosure thereof is:
    • necessary for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f of the GDPR, and there is no reason to believe that you have an overriding interest requiring protection in the non-disclosure of your data; or
    • necessary for compliance with a legal obligation pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. c of the GDPR; or
    • permitted by law and is required for the performance of a contract with you in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b of the GDPR.

Data is only transferred to third countries where the processing and transfer thereof is permitted by law in the respective country where it is received, and only upon respective prior information to you.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • obtain information about the personal data concerning you that we process in accordance with Art. 15 of the GDPR;
  • obtain without undue delay the rectification of inaccurate personal data concerning you that we have stored, as well as the right to have the personal data completed, in accordance with Art. 16 of the GDPR;
  • obtain the erasure of the personal data concerning you that we have stored, in accordance with Art. 17 of the GDPR;
  • obtain a restriction of the processing of your personal data in accordance with Art. 18 of the GDPR;
  • obtain the personal data concerning you that you have provided us in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format, or to have this data transmitted to another controller (data portability), in accordance with Art. 20 of the GDPR;
  • withdraw the consent you gave to us at any time, in accordance with Art. 7 para. 3 of the GDPR; meaning that we may no longer process data for which this consent was previously granted; and
  • lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in accordance with Art. 77 of the GDPR. In most cases, you can contact a supervisory authority in the location of your habitual residence, place of work or our company headquarters.

Right to Object

In cases where your personal data is processed on the basis of legitimate interests, pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f of the GDPR, you have the right – in accordance with Art. 21 of the GDPR – to object to your personal data being processed on grounds relating to: (i) your particular situation or (ii) direct marketing purposes.
